Concept Definition
This branch of artificial intelligence aims at modeling intelligence by simulating brain neural networks. Computational neural networks are algorithms designed to construct pathways between input and output through an interconnected network of units ('neuron'). The key feature of connectionist AI algorithms is that the user does not specify the rules of the domain being modeled. The network discovers them through training a large input dataset provided by the user who samples the output data.
